Caitlan Stransky

Caitlan (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is passionate about working with youth and adults of diverse cultural backgrounds, including the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. She uses a client-centred and trauma-informed approach to assist clients in creating their own path towards post-traumatic growth and healing. She is also passionate about using evidence-based treatments to support her clients. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy. She also applies mindfulness to assist with nervous system rebalancing. 

Caitlan has experience working with clients affected by a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, body-focused repetitive behaviours, and perfectionism. Additionally, she is well versed in working with individuals affected by interpersonal trauma(s) and complicated or disenfranchised grief.

Her gentle approach lends to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore the impacts these experiences have had on their wellbeing. 


In her spare time, Caitlan enjoys hiking with her dog, practicing yoga, and connecting with folks in the local music scene. She also facilitates a mental wellness group for youth experiencing mild-to-moderate anxiety.
